Whispers of Passion

Rose in dark red, originally uploaded by DavetheGrey.
The red rose whispers of passion,
And the white rose breathes of love;
O, the red rose is a falcon,
And the white rose is a dove.

Creative Designer on Flickr Inspires Creativity in Others

I discovered a wonderful creative designer (pareeerica) on Flickr through stumbling across her beautiful Textures Collection.  I noted Parée's sharing heart in there words: "Please feel free to use one or many....hoping they help inspire your creativity!"  To me, those words and a sharing heart is inspirational!

I haven't used any of the textures yet to try to create anything.  Not that I wouldn't like to try, but I don't know how to use photoshop.  My project for the textures was when I was trying to create my own blog design.  I finally wised up and invested in paying for the beautiful blog designs on this and my other blogs.

Her profile page inspired me to try new things as she described being self-taught:
" I have always been interested in Photography & Design. I love Photoshop.  ... I am self taught. I have learnt all of what I do from online tutorials & also by "fiddling"~ I feel this is the best way to learn anything ~ keep trying until you work it out...."
Here are a few samples from the beautiful textures set, featuring a bit of everything from rust to fabric, cement to lace.....also handmade textures:

Shabby Creations Designs Helped Me Express My Blog!

I've spent months searching through free blog templates and even purchased a couple (which were lame by the way) and I could never find anything that was much of a reflection of me or my style.  I spent countless hours trying to modify the templates to make them look decent or try to fix bugs with the templates.  Searching Google for "Free Blogger Templates" was apparently the wrong search and landed me nowhere!  Finally, I tried different searches under "premade" templates, etc. and found an absolutely fantastic resources to get affordable (only $10!) premade templates and even a place where I can get custom templates to express my style even more!  Check out the Packages & Ordering page!

After the first installation of a premade template on this blog, I'm delighted!  I actually did not realize how much I love the vintage look until I came across Shabby Creations.  I love all the designs and can't wait to get at least one custom design to express myself in my blogs! Not only that, but you can get custom logos, business cards, custom twitter pages and more!
